In this material-to-colour research I have gained an insight in possibility of local colour mining for ceramics and nearly anything. By treating rocks and soil as paint and using them to colour porcelain, I learned to develop paint from the soil under my feet. It is fascinating to know  that soil has so many more attributes that just growing produce but also nourish with aesthetic satisfaction.

The paint is developed with the help of a dutch designer and researcher Kirstie Van Noort
